The LCR-Reader was the first to debut the new look of Smart Tweezers, with half the weight of previous models, a slimmer body design, and the bright OLED display. This design has been carried on through the ST-5S model, an updated model of the ST-5. The ST-5S model is more of a professionally used device, and offers a few more features, but for a higher cost. This model also need annual calibration in order to keep it ISO compliant.
